Aniimo Prismana, Sparkling, Perfect, Alpha, Umbral, Forms & Personality Explained
Do they affect stats? · How to get them · Which ones stack · Aniipod picker for every situationPrismana is a Form with regular base stats, Sparkling is a look that does not change stats, and Perfect is the top Innate Potential rating. Umbral Aniimo are special dark-skinned Aniimo that always have Perfect. An Alpha has regular stats once you catch it, and the only things that cannot stack are two Forms, such as Prismana and a Region Form; everything else can. For each concept this guide covers what it is, how to get it, whether it affects stats, what it stacks with and which Aniipod to use, based on the game data.
- Prismana: one kind of Form (Prismana Form). Base stats are identical to the species' Basic Form; it often gains or swaps an element
- Sparkling: a mutation that makes the body glow. No stat change (the wild Sparkling chance in the game data is 1 in 20,000)
- Perfect: not a kind of Aniimo but the top Innate Potential rating (Common · Good · Elite · Perfect)
- Alpha: a giant field enemy. Defeat it for one catch attempt; once caught it has the same stats as a regular one
- Personality: four letters every Aniimo has (E/I · S/N · T/F · J/P). Small combat bonuses, RV Home work bonuses and a few evolution conditions
- Stacking: an Aniimo has exactly one Form, so Prismana and a Region Form cannot stack; Sparkling, Perfect, Alpha and personality can all go together
The 5 key answers
Key point• Prismana stats = regular stats. Its base stats are exactly the same as the species' Basic Form. Instead, it often gains an extra element.
• Sparkling = looks only. Stats stay the same. Catching with a Sparkling Cube also guarantees Perfect, which is why Sparkling Aniimo feel stronger.
• Perfect = the top Innate Potential rating. The highest of the four tiers.
• A caught Alpha = regular stats. It is only boosted as a boss in the wild.
• Stacking: Prismana and a Region Form cannot exist on the same Aniimo; everything else can stack.
1Relationship table at a glance
- Form is what it looks like (Basic, Region, weather, Nighttime or Prismana Form), Sparkling is whether it glows, Perfect is whether its Innate Potential rating is the highest, Alpha is where and how you met it, and personality is its four letters. They are separate axes, so most of them can be combined.

2Prismana — what is different from a regular Aniimo?
- Prismana is a Form called Prismana Form. It is the highest grade in the game's list of Forms (Basic, Region, Thunderstorm, Rainstorm, Nighttime, Snowfield, Prismana Form and more).
- Its base stats are exactly the same as the regular one. Comparing each species' Basic Form and Prismana Form in the game data, all 25 comparable species have identical base stats. For example, Stellarys has the same ATK, DEF and HP values in both Forms.
- Its element often changes instead. 17 of the 25 gain an extra element or swap one. For example, Stellarys (Dark) → Prismana Stellarys (Dark + Ice), Fulmintis (Lightning) → Prismana (Lightning + Light). Its Home Abilities are also often higher than the regular Form's.
- How to get one: catch a Prismana that appears during a Prismana Flow, hatch a Prismana Egg or an Egg of Prayers, or use a Prismana Orb. A Prismana Orb requires that you have obtained the Prismana of that species before, and it keeps the Aniimo's existing Potential, mutations and personality.

Prismana Crystal3Sparkling — only the looks change
- Sparkling is a mutation that makes the Aniimo radiate its own signature glow. There are ten kinds, Sparkling Type I to Type X, plus the hidden Dazzling Sparkling and Shadow Sparkling.
- Stats do not change. In the game data, every Sparkling-related value is for looks and effects. Catching or hatching with a Sparkling Cube also guarantees Perfect, which is why Sparkling Aniimo feel stronger.
- Wild spawns: the Sparkling chance in the game data is 1 in 20,000 (0.005%) for most Aniimo. Some fixed bosses and the like never appear as Sparkling in the wild.
- Sparkling Cube: guaranteed catch + Perfect Potential + the Sparkling mutation. Linked at the end of hatching, it also hatches a Perfect, Sparkling Aniimo.
- Sparkling Sigil: "Use to transform an Aniimo into a Sparkling Aniimo. Can also be exchanged at the Outpost Vendor for Sparkling Pigments." It turns a regular Aniimo you already own into a Sparkling one.
- Sparkling Pigment: "Can only be used on Sparkling Prismana Aniimo. Randomly changes their Sparkling Pigments." It rerolls the glow of a Prismana + Sparkling Aniimo. You can trade 5 Sparkling Sigils for one in the Shop's [Item Exchange]; Sparkling Sigils come from reporting Sparkling Aniimo.
- Sparkling Egg: always hatches an Aniimo with the Sparkling mutation.
- Prismana egg + Sparkling Cube: for eggs that always hatch a Prismana Form, like the Prismana Panpanta Egg, the egg description says using a Sparkling Cube may give the hidden "Shadow Sparkling".

Sparkling Egg4Perfect — the top Innate Potential rating
- Perfect is not a kind of Aniimo or a look. It is the Innate Potential rating you get at an outpost's Research Console after catching an Aniimo.
- There are four tiers: Common → Good → Elite → Perfect. As the game explains, the rating combines total Innate Potential and the recommended attributes, and a higher rating means stronger starting attributes and a better Aniimo to train.
- How to get it: random when catching in the wild (Perfect is about 0.8%), Sparkling Cube (guaranteed), Aniipod Ultra (Elite or better), and eggs with guaranteed Perfect such as the Prismana Fulmintis Egg and the Umbral Aniimo Egg.
- Umbral Aniimo: affected by concentrated Vein energy, their Innate Potential is always Perfect. The Umbral appearance disappears after evolution or a Form change.
5Alpha — same stats as a regular one once caught
- The English client calls it Alpha. The Korean client calls it Elite.
- An Alpha is a giant field enemy shown on the map. In the wild it has boss stats with greatly boosted HP and attack, and a bigger body.
- Defeating it gives a chest and one catch attempt. If you miss, you have to defeat it again, so pick your Aniipod by the catch chance shown on the catch screen.
- Once caught, the boss boost is gone and it has the same base stats as a regular Aniimo of its species. Catching it as an Alpha does not make it a stronger individual. It does stay bigger than a regular one when summoned.
- Using a Sparkling Cube on an Alpha guarantees a Sparkling, Perfect Alpha. An Alpha Egg always hatches an Aniimo with that area's Alpha mutation.
Alpha Egg6Umbral — Aniimo charged with Vein energy
- Umbral Aniimo are affected by the region's uniquely high concentration of Vein energy. They have a dark Umbral appearance.
- Open world: Umbral Aniimo themselves appear in the open world at a set chance, and you can catch them.
- Operation: Egg Heist: an Aniimo Egg you get as a reward can be an Umbral Aniimo Egg at a set chance.
- Hatching an Umbral Aniimo Egg always gives an Umbral Aniimo with Perfect Potential.
- Their Potential rating is always Perfect. In-game texts mix "Innate" and "Acquired" here, but either way a Perfect rating is guaranteed.
- An Aniimo can be both Prismana and Umbral.
- The Umbral appearance disappears if it evolves or changes form. Before evolving, the game asks once more: "…its Umbral appearance will vanish. Confirm evolution?"
- Raising the spawn rate: catch every basic form species in the Breezy Plains to earn the Windchaser Badge, which raises the spawn rate of Sparkling and Umbral Aniimo (+50% in the Breezy Plains).
7Forms and personality
- Form: a version whose look and element change with where it lives, the weather or the time (Region Forms; Thunderstorm, Rainstorm, Nighttime and Snowfield Forms; the Prismana Form and more). In the game data, base stats are the same as the species' Basic Form whatever the Form; the element, look and evolution branch change.
- Personality: every Aniimo is born with a four-letter personality from E/I · S/N · T/F · J/P. Each letter gives a small 2–6% combat bonus and an RV Home work bonus, and some Aniimo, like Geoclaw and Melloblum, need a personality letter to evolve. You can reroll it with a Psyche Fruit.
Psyche Fruit8Which combinations can stack
- Prismana + Region Form = impossible. An Aniimo has exactly one Form. It cannot be a Prismana Form and a Region Form (or a Nighttime Form, etc.) at the same time.
- Prismana + Sparkling = possible. It is such a common combination that the Sparkling Pigment item exists only for Sparkling Prismana Aniimo. A Sparkling Cube on a wild Prismana gives Prismana + Sparkling + Perfect.
- Prismana + Perfect = possible. For example, the Prismana Fulmintis Egg hatches a Prismana Form Aniimo with Perfect Potential.
- Prismana + Umbral = possible. Umbral Aniimo are always Perfect, so this gives Prismana + Umbral + Perfect.
- Alpha + Sparkling + Perfect = possible. Defeat the Alpha, then catch it with a Sparkling Cube.
- Region Form + Sparkling + Perfect = possible. Form, Sparkling and the rating are separate things.
- Every Aniimo has a personality. Prismana, Sparkling and Alpha individuals all have four-letter personalities too.
9Aniipod picker — what should you throw?
- Pick what you are catching or hatching to see the recommended Aniipod, what is and is not guaranteed, and which Aniipods would be wasted in that situation.
- When hatching, you link an Aniipod at the last step. A basic Aniipod, Aniipod Pro or Aniipod Mega adds nothing to the result; only the Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube have an effect.

Pro tips
- •Save Sparkling Cubes for one-off chances such as a wild Prismana or a Prismana egg without guaranteed Perfect.
- •If a Sparkling Aniimo seems unusually strong, that comes from the Perfect rating it got along with Sparkling, not from Sparkling itself.
- •Do not use an Aniipod Pro or Mega for hatching. The result is the same as with a basic Aniipod.
