Vein Essence vs. Prismana Crystal

Vein Essence was also used to search in the event "Aniimo Discovery" (9/25 – 10/9), but that event has ended.
1What is Vein Essence?
- Vein Essence is an Epic item. Its in-game description is "Essence condensed from the rich nutrients of the earth to repair Vein damage and nourish the local ecosystem."
- It has one use: Nurture. When you have no free Nurture attempts left, 1 Vein Essence gives you 1 more Nurture.
- In the event "Aniimo Discovery" (9/25 – 10/9) it was also used to search. That event has ended, so Nurture is the only use now.
- The item that calls a Prismana right away is the Prismana Crystal. The names look alike and are easy to mix up, so read the Crystal sections below too.

- The steady sources, week after week and day after day, are the Stamp Shop (10 a week) and the Mysterious Vendor (2 a day).
- One-time rewards come from Branch levels, Area Catch Completion, Family Collection, Elite Training, the Companion Handbook and Vein Research tasks. Area Catch Completion 40% gives 1 in each of 14 areas, 14 in all.
- The paid packs are bought with Lumin Crystals and are on sale until 10/29 (KST).

How to raise Area Collection badges and Aniilog Research Points quickly.
3What It Is For — Daily Nurture Count
- Nurture opens only when you have that area's Bronze Badge.
- Free Nurture is 1 per day. If you do not use it, it stacks up to 3.
- When you have no free attempts, 1 Vein Essence gives you 1 more. With no Vein Essence you see "Not enough Vein Essence. Cannot nurture."
- You can Nurture up to 15 times a day. Unlock Prospering Clusters at Branch level 3 (30 Lumin Amber) and it goes up by 10 to 25.
- For example, if you saved up 3 free attempts, filling all 25 takes 22 Vein Essence. If you have only 1 free attempt, it takes 24.
- Each Nurture raises that area's Prismatic Energy, and when it is full a Prismana always appears. The amount needed at each stage is in the Prismatic Energy Gauge post.

4Where to Get Prismana Crystals
- The Prismana Crystal is a Legendary item. Its in-game description is "A crystal infused with Prismana that immediately triggers a Prismana Flow event when absorbed by the Branch."
- It is much harder to get than Vein Essence. There are 3 sources, listed below.

5How to Use a Prismana Crystal — 4 Minutes of Prismana Weather
- ① On the Map, pick the Branch marker in Nimbus Fields and press "Go to Infuse Energy".
- ② On the Branch screen, press "Change Weather" at the bottom left.
- ③ Pick an area. The Prismana Form Aniimo you will meet next in that area is shown with it.
- ④ Use 1 Prismana Crystal and that area becomes Prismana weather for 4 minutes, which raises the chance of a Prismana appearing. A Prismana Flow alert pops up on the screen.
- How much the chance goes up is not confirmed. If a Prismana appears within the 4 minutes, follow the route guide and go catch it right away.
- Requirements: you must unlock Branch level 6, Prismana Radiance (60 Lumin Amber), and have the Silver Badge of the area you pick.
- Limits: 3 a day, with a 1-minute cooldown after each use. You cannot use it again on the same area until its Prismana weather ends ("The Prismana Flow is active in this area.").
6Playing with Friends
- The Branch can be used only in your own world ("The Branch can only be used in your own world."). You cannot use a Prismana Crystal in a friend's world.
- The Nurture count, Vein Essence and Prismana Crystals are all separate for each player.
- When you visit a friend's world you see that world's weather. If your friend uses a Crystal and it becomes Prismana weather, you see Prismana weather too.
- If you join a Wild Surge in a friend's world, the Prismatic Energy of the same area in your own world goes up. It goes up by a small, a fixed or a large amount depending on your friend's level.
- The Prismatic Energy you get from a friend's world has a weekly cap ("You have reached your weekly limit for Prismatic Energy obtained via friend sharing."). The cap amount is not confirmed.
- Using a Prismana Crystal does not raise your friend's Prismatic Energy. A friend's Prismatic Energy goes up when they join a Wild Surge in someone else's world (for example, yours).

- Q. How many times a day can I Nurture?
- Up to 15 times a day. Unlock Prospering Clusters at Branch level 3 and it becomes 25. Free Nurture is 1 a day and stacks up to 3. The rest is done with Vein Essence.
- Q. Does a Prismana appear right away when I use a Prismana Crystal?
- The area you pick becomes Prismana weather for 4 minutes, which raises the chance of a Prismana appearing. How much it goes up is not confirmed.
- Q. I cannot use a Prismana Crystal.
- Check that you have unlocked Prismana Radiance at Branch level 6 and that you have the Silver Badge of the area you picked. You also cannot use one if you have used all 3 for the day, if that area is already in Prismana weather, or during the 1-minute cooldown.
- Q. If I change the weather with a Prismana Crystal, is the Prismatic Energy I already filled reset?
- Not confirmed.
- Q. If I use a Prismana Crystal with a friend, does my friend's gauge go up too?
- No. A Prismana Crystal can be used only in your own world, and using it does not raise your friend's Prismatic Energy. A friend's gauge goes up when they join a Wild Surge in your world. Whether a visiting friend can catch the Prismana made by your Crystal is not confirmed.
Pro tips
- •The Stamp Shop's Vein Essence is limited to 10 a week. Remember to exchange for it every week.
- •Free Nurture stacks up to 3, so on a busy day you can save it and use it all at once.
- •A Prismana Crystal only works for 4 minutes. Move near that area before you use it.
