- Standard: The most common individuals encountered throughout the open world.
- Alpha (in-game designation: Alpha): Marked on the map with specific locations; defeating them in combat yields a treasure chest and a one-time capture opportunity.
- Prismana (in-game designation: Prismana Aniimo / Prismana Form): A rare form that appears after a Wild Surge once regional Prismatic Energy reaches its maximum.
- Sparkling (in-game designation: Sparkling Aniimo / Sparkling Mutation): A unique mutation granted with a fixed chance in the wild or guaranteed through special means (Sparkling Cube). In short, Prismana (form) and Sparkling (mutation) are entirely separate.
22. Performance and Characteristics of Key Aniipods
- Aniipods in your inventory are split into 6 standard Aniipods and 2 special Aniipods. Switching Aniipods on the capture screen allows you to throw a higher-tier pod.

- Keep in mind that defeating an Alpha grants only 1 capture attempt. Therefore, it is critical to switch to your highest-tier available Aniipod before throwing.
- Because you only get one chance, using an Aniipod Ultra is the safest choice for a rare Alpha you cannot afford to lose. It guarantees a 100% catch and ensures an ability rating of at least Elite.

44. Recommended Aniipods for Wild Prismana
- The most critical takeaway: if you find a wild Prismana, using a Sparkling Cube is the go-to choice.
- Throwing a Sparkling Cube guarantees the catch while simultaneously granting the Sparkling mutation and the highest Potential rating (Perfect). It is the most powerful combination to turn an ultra-rare Prismana into an even more exceptional companion.
- If you do not have a Sparkling Cube, aim for a guaranteed catch with an Aniipod Ultra, or switch to an Aniipod Mega, Hyper, or Track (2x catch rate). Prismana Aniimo can still be caught without a Sparkling Cube.
- If you already own that specific Prismana, you do not strictly need to use a Sparkling Cube. Depending on whether you want another Sparkling specimen, need an individual for training, or how many Sparkling Cubes you have left, an Aniipod Ultra or high-tier standard Aniipod may suffice.
- However, for guaranteed Prismana rewards from events like "Prismana Pact", there is no capture procedure, so you can safely save your Sparkling Cubes.

55. Aniipods Matter When Hatching Prismana Eggs Too
- When an egg finishes incubating in the Hatchinator, you use an Aniipod at the end to bond with the hatched Aniimo. At this moment, the Aniipod you use directly influences its Potential rating and mutations.
- Hatching with a Sparkling Cube guarantees the Perfect rating and hatches the Aniimo in Sparkling state.
- Hatching with an Aniipod Ultra guarantees an ability rating of at least Elite. It does not guarantee a Perfect rating.
- Therefore, always check the egg description before hatching. Even among Prismana Eggs, the right choice depends on the specific egg type.
- Eggs with guaranteed Prismana Form + Perfect rating (described as 'a Prismana Form with the Perfect Acquired Potential'): A Perfect Prismana will hatch even without a Sparkling Cube. Using a Sparkling Cube adds the Sparkling mutation on top, so only spend one if you specifically want the Sparkling mutation as well.
- Eggs with guaranteed Prismana Form but unconfirmed Perfect rating: To ensure you receive the Perfect rating, you must use a Sparkling Cube. For these Prismana Eggs, using a Sparkling Cube is the go-to choice. Certain Prismana Eggs may also grant the 'Shadow Sparkling' mutation when hatched with a Sparkling Cube.
