1How Star Up works: ranks and Minor Ranks

• It is done in the [Star Up] tab of the Aniimo Training screen.
• Resonance has Ranks 1–7. Rank 1 has 1 Minor Rank, Rank 2 has 2 … and Rank 6 has 6. Rank 7 is the final rank, so it has no Minor Ranks.
• Once you clear every Minor Rank in a rank, you enter the next rank through an Ascension. In this guide, 'Rank N Ascension' means the Ascension into Rank N (e.g. after clearing the 1 Minor Rank of Rank 1, you do the Ascension into Rank 2). Ascensions require an Aniimo level and extra materials.
• The stats and materials are the same for every Aniimo, regardless of role (DPS, Heal, etc.), element or species. However, Besauce additionally uses its exclusive material, Fragment - Besauce, for Ascensions.

2Stats raised by each Minor Rank

• Minor Ranks raise stats in the same order in every rank. Each higher rank simply adds one more Minor Rank.
• 1st Minor Rank: ATK +10 · BREAK +5 (20 Dewdrop Crystals)
• 2nd Minor Rank: P.DEF +5 · M.DEF +5 (25 Dewdrop Crystals)
• 3rd Minor Rank: HP +320 · REGEN +8 (30 Dewdrop Crystals)
• 4th Minor Rank: P.DEF +5 · M.DEF +5 (40 Dewdrop Crystals)
• 5th Minor Rank: ATK +10 · BREAK +5 (50 Dewdrop Crystals)
• 6th Minor Rank: HP +320 · REGEN +8 (60 Dewdrop Crystals)
• For example, in Rank 4 you clear the 1st–4th Minor Ranks in order, and in Rank 6 the 1st–6th.

3Ascension rewards in detail

• The Ascensions into Ranks 2 · 3 give % stat bonuses. Entering Rank 2 raises ATK · BREAK · HP by 2% each, and entering Rank 3 raises P.DEF · M.DEF · REGEN by 2% each.
• The Ascension into Rank 4 gives Counter Boost +20%. You deal more damage to targets your element has the advantage against.
• The Ascensions into Ranks 5 · 6 · 7 are the most important. The Capability Awakening Count rises from the base 20 → 25 → 33 → 43, letting you raise more Acquired Potential.
• The same Ascensions give the Six Potentials +1 · +1 · +2. This bonus appears on the Capability Awakening screen as a blue bar and '+number', and stacks separately from the Innate + Acquired cap (20).
• Each time a Potential's total (Innate + Acquired + blue +number) reaches a multiple of 4, that stat rises by +4%. So getting +1 or +2 from an Ascension can move the +4% thresholds earlier.

4Required materials and totals up to Rank 7

• Dewdrop Crystals: Used for both Minor Ranks and Ascensions. Depending on the Aniimo, it uses either 'Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystal' or 'Whisperwake Isles Dewdrop Crystal'. Check which one you need on the Star Up screen.
• Element Stones: Ascensions use the stone matching the Aniimo's element (Blaze Stone · Wave Stone · Gust Stone · Freeze Stone · Roar Stone · Loam Stone · Sprout Stone · Night Stone · Light Stone).
• Phenomena Crystal: 1 is needed for the Ascension into Rank 6 and 2 for the Ascension into Rank 7.
• Totals up to Rank 7: 870 Dewdrop Crystals (645 for Minor Ranks + 225 for Ascensions), 40 Element Stones and 3 Phenomena Crystals.
• Total stats gained up to Rank 7: ATK +80 · BREAK +40 · P.DEF +40 · M.DEF +40 · HP +1600 · REGEN +40, +2% to each of the six stats, Counter Boost +20%, Capability Awakening Count 43, and Six Potentials +4.
