1What is the Idyll Ecological Investigation event?
- During the event, the Polaris Institute publishes a themed ecological investigation. This round's theme is Aniimo that show a unique form under the influence of the Sea of Flowers environment.
- Catch the Aniimo on the investigation list to earn investigation points. When your total points reach a threshold, you receive that tier's reward.
- Points are only awarded the first time you investigate each Aniimo. Catching the same Aniimo again gives no extra points.
- You must catch the same form as on the investigation list to complete it. The Basic Form or another regional form doesn't count.
- If the target is an Aniimo not yet registered in your dex, you get double points on the first investigation.
2Spawn locations and conditions for the 4 Sea of Flowers Forms
- Sea of Flowers Form Pranky (Water · Heal): Appears in the Sea of Flowers.
- Sea of Flowers Form Flutternym (Wind · Heal): Appears in the Sea of Flowers. The Sea of Flowers also has a Nighttime Form Flutternym that only appears at night, so check the form before you catch it.
- Sea of Flowers Form Sparki (Fire · REGEN): Appears in the Sea of Flowers only at night (20:00–06:00).
- Sea of Flowers Form Pomegg (Grass · BREAK): After progressing “Rainbow of the Ground”, the Tideblossom Coast quest where you uncover the truth about Irelia's slumber, it appears near the Amethyst Tree (Tideblossom Coast, Forest of Falling Stars).

- As investigation points accumulate, you receive the Tier 1 · Tier 2 · Tier 3 rewards. Investigating just 3 of the 4 Aniimo is enough to reach the final tier.
- If any Sea of Flowers Form is missing from your dex, investigate that Aniimo first. The first investigation gives double points, so the tier rewards fill up faster.
- Sparki only appears at night, so catch Pranky and Flutternym first during the day and Sparki at night to cut down on travel.
