1What is the Idyll Ecological Investigation event?

  • During the event, the Polaris Institute publishes a themed ecological investigation. This round's theme is "Aniimo that show a unique form under the influence of the mountain woods environment".
  • Catch the Aniimo on the investigation list to earn investigation points. When your total points reach a threshold, you receive that tier's reward.
  • Points are only awarded the first time you investigate each Aniimo. Catching the same Aniimo again gives no extra points.
  • You must catch the same form as on the investigation list to complete it. The Basic Form or another regional form doesn't count.
  • If the target is an Aniimo not yet registered in your dex, you get double points on the first investigation.
  • The event runs 10/16 05:00 – 10/23 04:59 (KST).
  • Each investigation card has a "Track" button that marks the way to that Aniimo.

2Spawn areas and conditions for the 4 targets

  • Mountain Woods Form Flameruff (Fire · DPS, Gamma Stage): Appears in Beast Fang Ridge.
  • Mountain Woods Form Flutternym (Wind · Earth, Heal, Lumin Stage): Appears in Beast Fang Ridge and Blitzwood. Other forms of Flutternym may appear in the same areas, so check the form before you catch it.
  • Mountain Woods Form Bolty (Lightning · BREAK, Lumin Stage): Appears in Blitzwood only during the day (06:00–20:00).
  • Mountain Form Hexxin (Grass · Dark, REGEN, Gamma Stage): Appears in Berylline Vale and the Sea of Flowers. It is the only Mountain Form of the four.

3Rewards and tips

  • The investigation point tier rewards are 1 point: Credits 100,000, 2 points: Aniipod Track ×25 and 3 points: Sparkling Crystal 100. Investigating just 3 of the 4 Aniimo is enough to reach the final tier.
  • If any target is missing from your dex, investigate that Aniimo first. The first investigation gives double points, so the tier rewards fill up faster.
  • Bolty only appears during the day, so catch Bolty and Flutternym in Blitzwood during the day first. Beast Fang Ridge (Flameruff) and Berylline Vale (Hexxin) can be done at any time.
