Irisalis Transmog Guide — Part Unlocks, Rates, Locking, Materials & Sets
Part Unlock Progress · Quality Rates & Guarantees · Radiant Dreamshadow & Glimmering Driftshadow · 4 Sets · History & SavingTransmog is exclusive to Irisalis, and changes only appearance. Stats, skills, and traits remain unchanged.
As you transmog more, additional parts become available to customize, and you can lock parts you like to keep them. Based on in-game guides, here is a complete breakdown of unlock conditions, rates, locking costs, materials, sets, and how to save presets.- Parts unlock in the order of Color → Wings → Headwear → Body → Effects. Each transmog increases progress by 10.
- Part quality rates are Rare 77.42%, Epic 19.36%, and Legendary 3.22%, with Legendary guaranteed within 62 attempts without locking.
- Locking becomes available after Wings unlock (progress 150). Locking more parts consumes more materials and increases Legendary odds.
- Transmog results are not applied immediately. You must select a result from history and click "Save & Apply", which then clears your history.

1What is Transmog?
- Transmog is a feature that changes only Irisalis's appearance. Stats, skills, and traits do not change.
- Currently, only Irisalis can be transmogged. It unlocks once Irisalis becomes your partner.
- There are 5 customizable parts: Color, Wings, Headwear, Body, and Effects. On the game screen, body is labeled as "Body" and effects as "Sparkling".
- Each part has a quality tier. Qualities are Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
- In-game text sometimes uses "Transformation" alongside "Transmog". They refer to the exact same feature.
2Part Unlock Progress
- At first, only Color can be changed. Each transmog increases progress by 10, and accumulated progress unlocks the next part.
- When parts are locked, consuming more materials increases the bonus (crit) chance, which boosts progress growth faster (per the in-game guide). The exact progress gained on a bonus proc is not confirmed.
- The "Transmog Attempts" below assumes a baseline of 10 progress per roll with no bonus procs.
- The Effects part is fixed to a single Legendary quality and does not appear in transmog rolls. It unlocks at 1,200 progress.
| Part | Unlock Progress | Transmog Attempts |
|---|---|---|
| Color | Default | - |
| Wings | 150 | 15 attempts |
| Headwear | 400 | 40 attempts |

3Materials: Radiant Dreamshadow and Glimmering Driftshadow
- Transmog uses Radiant Dreamshadow or Glimmering Driftshadow. The two materials have different restrictions.
- Radiant Dreamshadow: Can be used on all parts, and can be used while parts are locked. When transmogging without locks, 1 is consumed per attempt.
- Glimmering Driftshadow: Only changes the first 3 parts (Color, Wings, Headwear). Cannot be used while parts are locked, and cannot be used once the Body part unlocks (progress 750).
- In-game notice: Transmogging with Glimmering Driftshadow does not increase Transmog Progress for restricted parts or any parts unlocked afterward. If you own both items, Glimmering Driftshadow will be consumed first whenever its conditions are met.
- If "Use Exclusively" is checked on screen, only Glimmering Driftshadow will be used. Trying to lock a part while this is checked prompts a confirmation window asking whether to uncheck it.

4Quality Rates & Guarantees
- According to the in-game guide text, part quality rates are Rare 77.42%, Epic 19.36%, and Legendary 3.22%. Each part is rolled with these odds.
- The same guide states that a Legendary part is guaranteed within 62 transmogs (without locking).
- Whether the guarantee counter is tracked separately for each part, or how it carries over when changing the number of locked parts, is not explained in game and could not be verified.
5Part Locking
- When you roll a part you like, be sure to lock it. Unlocked parts will be rerolled on the next transmog. If you have an unlocked Legendary part, a confirmation window stating "Will be refreshed" appears before transmogging.
- You can lock up to 3 parts, and at least 1 part must remain unlocked to change. Therefore, when only Color and Wings are unlocked, you can only lock 1 part.
- The more parts you lock, the more Radiant Dreamshadow is consumed per roll (1 → 2 → 4 → 8), and the odds of getting a Legendary part in the remaining slots increase.
- Glimmering Driftshadow cannot be used while parts are locked. Only Radiant Dreamshadow can be used.

64 Sets
- A set is complete when all four parts—Color, Wings, Headwear, and Body—belong to the same set. Sets cannot be completed before the Body part unlocks (under 750 progress).
- Sets change only appearance; they grant no stat bonuses.
- The images below are taken from the in-game Set Preview screen.
- The 2 Legendary sets (Starbloom Moonlight and Sunflare Rose) feature exclusive special effects.
- Transmogging while your Current Preset is a Legendary set will display a "Set will be changed" confirmation prompt.

8History and Save & Apply
- Transmog results are not applied immediately. Up to 10 results are automatically saved to your "history".
- You must pick your preferred result from history and press "Save & Apply" to actually change Irisalis's appearance.
- Saving and applying clears your entire current history. If there are other results you want to compare, review them carefully before applying.
- Saved appearances are stored in My Presets (5 slots) and can be reapplied anytime. If all 5 slots are full, a prompt will ask you to choose a preset to replace.
FAQ
- Q. Why can't I see the lock button?
- The lock button only appears once 2 or more parts are unlocked. At first only Color is available, so check again after Wings unlocks at progress 150 (approx. 15 transmogs). Parts that are not yet unlocked and the Effects (Sparkling) part cannot be locked.
- Q. I tapped the lock button but it won't lock.
- At least 1 part must remain unlocked to change, so you can only lock up to (unlocked parts - 1). The maximum is 3. If "Use Exclusively" is checked for Glimmering Driftshadow, a confirmation window asking whether to uncheck it will appear first.
- Q. It says Glimmering Driftshadow cannot be used.
- This happens when parts are currently locked, or when the Body part has already unlocked (progress 750). In either case, you must use Radiant Dreamshadow instead.
- Q. I transmogged, but my appearance didn't change.
- Transmog rolls are only saved to your history. You must select a result from history and press "Save & Apply" to apply the changes.
- Q. Does transmog change my stats?
- No. It changes appearance only. Even completing a full set grants no stat bonuses.
Pro tips
- •Early on, use Glimmering Driftshadow to roll Color, Wings, and Headwear while building progress; once Body unlocks, switch to Radiant Dreamshadow.
- •Whenever you roll a Legendary part you want, make sure to lock it before your next transmog.
- •Saving and applying clears your history. Compare the saved results (up to 10) before applying.
