Do petals disappear when the event ends?
Official in-game noticeNo. The in-game event description officially says:
“Irisalis Petals that a Pathfinder has obtained are kept permanently if they are not used.”
* Note: keeping unused petals permanently is a separate matter from whether Irisalis can still be obtained after the event ends, so we don't read more into it.

- Breezy Mission Letter (up to 75 per week): 5 petals per completed mission. Since the latest patch you can complete/buy up to 15 per week (up from 5).
- Memory: The Faded Rainbow (up to 6 per week): 3 petals per dedicated chest. You can open up to 2 per week, and each opening costs 50 Primegy.
- Weekly reset: weekly amounts reset automatically every Monday at 04:00 (KST, Korea Standard Time), so finish the weekly repeatables before the reset.
Permanent tasks (progress-based sources · 10 types, no reset)

- Silver Badge: earn Silver Badges for exploration and major achievements (up to 14 tiers)
- Aniimo Topic: tasks about raising and interacting with Aniimo (up to 16 tiers)
- Tracing the Trail: investigate legendary traces hidden across Idyll (up to 5 tiers)
- Main Story: season main quest chapter rewards (up to 12 tiers)
- Stamp Shop: season Stamp Shop exchanges (up to 4 tiers)

Story encounterAppearance unlock
- 1. Collect petals: gather petals by exploring Breezy Plains, progressing the story and doing weekly repeatable content. (Per the 9/23 official update notice, the new phase adds sources with a weekly cap.)
- 2. Craft Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis: craft the Legendary Aniipod with your petals. *(Note: some database data shows 99, but we recommend confirming the amount on the actual APAC event screen on September 25.)*
- 3. Open the Rift Space: once the Legendary Aniipod is crafted, a portal opens to the Rift Space where Irisalis is.
- 4. Dedicated encounter & bond: according to the developer letter, the old repeated chance-based capture was replaced by "a dedicated story and a single encounter, then a guaranteed bond". Once Irisalis is your partner, its exclusive appearance change is also unlocked.

- Extra use after getting Irisalis: during the season, after crafting the Legendary Aniipod you can use extra petals to craft "Legendary Aniipod: Departure with the Wind" (100% capture rate, guaranteed Perfect Innate Potential, guaranteed Sparkling Form).

- •Check [How to Obtain] at the bottom left of the F2 Legendary Journey screen often and go after the petal sources you haven't cleared yet.
- •Fill the petal sources with a weekly cap first, before the weekly reset.
- •Leftover petals after getting Irisalis can be used for the guaranteed-Sparkling Legendary Aniipod, so keep collecting them.
The official in-game notice confirms that petals are kept permanently, but that alone does not mean Irisalis can still be obtained after the event ends on December 10. We recommend getting it within the season if you can.
