Inferlupa story · Who the Undefeated Warrior really is · The souls of three warriors · The legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge · Prismana Inferlupa in the Prismana CarnivalEmberpups pass down the legend of the "Undefeated Warrior", a Flameruff that won 100 fights in a row. But follow Journey: Warrior and you learn that this warrior was really an Inferlupa that challenged Icho, the strongest Scorchhowl, 100 times and lost all 100. So why does the Inferlupa still want to fight? We put together Inferlupa's story from the in-game lines, with a Shorts video. The Prismana Inferlupa week (10/12~10/19) is over, but Prismana Inferlupa appears again in Nimbus Fields during the Prismana Carnival until 10/26 04:59.
- Inferlupa is a Flameruff that lost to the strong and took in the souls of its fallen companions (dex)
- The legendary "Undefeated Warrior" did not win 100 in a row — it lost 100 out of 100, and its opponent was Icho, the strongest Scorchhowl
- Inferlupa's three souls are the three warriors of legend: the Lost Warrior · the Immortal Warrior · the Undefeated Warrior
- Ending: never giving up the fight, even at the most hopeless moment, is what makes a true warrior — and the Ridgeback Trees bloom again
- Includes a YouTube Shorts video of about 1 minute · link to Prismana Inferlupa spawn info for the Prismana Carnival (until 10/26)
11. What kind of Aniimo is Inferlupa?
- The dex describes Inferlupa like this: "A Flameruff who challenged the strong and lost. Having absorbed the souls of companions who fell with equal bitterness, it is driven by the desire for revenge."
- The Emberpup family carries one fate from birth: "To grow stronger, to rise above all." The mighty Flameruffs fight one another in Thousand-Fang Ridge, dreaming of becoming a true Scorchhowl, but most of them fall without getting there.
- The body of a fallen fighter becomes a Ridgeback Tree, and its spirit cannot fade away: it stays behind, held by the fate of having to grow stronger (description of the item "Unbroken Flameruff Spirit"). Evolving a Flameruff into Inferlupa takes 6 of these Unbroken Flameruff Spirit.
- When the Ridgeback Trees are in full bloom, they are said to blaze like an undying flame. But after Icho, the strongest Scorchhowl, left and took the flame with it, Beast Fang Ridge began to decline, and the Inferlupas trapped there lost the will to fight.
22. Why It Keeps Fighting After 100 Losses (Shorts)
- A gossipy Emberpup on the ridge tells you the legend of the "Undefeated Warrior". A legendary Flameruff won 100 fights in a row, and the Emberpup searched all over the ridge to hear stories about it. "If you see him, tell him for me, okay?! I really, really want to hear about his next victory!"
- But listen in on a few Inferlupa talking, and they are wondering whether to keep fighting: "If I can't be the strongest Scorchhowl... what am I even fighting for?" Then one Inferlupa decides to fight once more for the daughter waiting for him.
- When you go back, that Inferlupa has shut himself away, afraid he won't be able to face his daughter if he loses again. His few muttered words reveal the truth: the reserved Inferlupa is the Undefeated Warrior himself, and that "100" was not a record of wins but a record of challenging Icho 100 times and losing every time.
- He once gave up fighting, but he has pulled himself together and is waiting for his next victory, ready to accept even a 102nd defeat.

Why Inferlupa Keeps Fighting After 100 Losses
33. Inferlupa's Three Souls — The Three Warriors of Legend
- Lost Warrior: A very strong Flameruff with a terrible sense of direction. He left to earn the Ridgeback Trees' recognition, saying he would come back, and never returned. His child, an Emberpup, still waits, believing he "simply got lost after Thousand-Fang Ridge withered." "But I'll wait for him to come home. No matter how long it takes."
- Immortal Warrior: The old boss that today's Omega Flameruff defeated in his youth to take his place. After leaving the pack, he is said to have made a name for himself as the "Immortal Warrior". The current boss, who now struggles to keep up with challenges from the younger generation, begins to wonder what he could do after stepping down from the top.
- Undefeated Warrior: The warrior who challenged Icho 100 times and lost 100 times.
- At the end of Journey: Warrior, it turns out that Inferlupa's three souls are these three warriors. After hearing stories from the outside world, they regain their fighting spirit and challenge you to The True Final Battle.
- The chain on Inferlupa's leg is said to be a shackle binding a heart that has lost its fighting spirit (as Sayn explains).
44. Ending — The Ridgeback Trees Bloom Again
- When you defeat the Inferlupa, the Ridgeback Trees of Thousand-Fang Ridge bloom again. Only then do the three warriors realize that never giving up the fight, even at the most hopeless moment, is what makes a true warrior.
- When you invite them to come along, they politely decline — "we've already got quite a crowd" — and race off into the distance.
- When you finish the quest, this line appears: "Thousand-Fang Ridge does not bloom for the strongest. But an unquenchable fighting spirit... is enough to make the Ridgeback Tree let its branches fall."
- According to Sayn, when the earth shifted and the Ridgeback Trees withered, it was also Icho's fighting spirit from its duels that brought them back. In other words, Thousand-Fang Ridge needs the purest fighting spirit to bloom.
55. Even Icho, the Strongest Scorchhowl, Lost 99 Times
- "Icho" is a title given only to the strongest Scorchhowl. The last Icho was the strongest of all and never lost among the Ridgeback Trees.
- But once it had won every fight it could win, battle became boring, and it lost both its rivals and its goal (item "Fists").
- Then it met Dr. Lewis and fought him ninety-nine times, losing all ninety-nine. Far from being bitter, it felt its dying fire burn again, and after its ninety-ninth defeat it answered Lewis's "Want to come with me?" with "Yes."
- An Inferlupa that lost 100 times, and an Icho that lost 99 times. The story of this family shows that what makes a warrior is not winning, but the fighting spirit to move on to the next fight even after losing.
