You sing just as badly as me!
Hummin · Hexxin · Tuckin
Introduction by MOANIIMO · not game text
Hummins love to gather and sing, but they never notice when they are off-key. Perfumer Ron, lost in the Mistwoods, met Tucker singing secretly in a corner, and they became friends. The two promised that one day they would let the whole forest hear a beautiful song together.

CHAPTER 01
The Missed Hummin Duet
MOANIIMO noteIn the Mistwoods, two Hexxins slacking off on patrol chat with each other.
Game text
You know what? I kind of miss that old "off-key duet." It’s been a while.
Weirdly, so do I! Their awful singing was torture, but it did add some excitement to a boring patrol duty.
While I was out patrolling recently, I saw that human boy again. But... why did he look younger...?
Does he know some kind of age-reversing magic?
I’m not sure... But after all these years, he’s still set on coming to find the Tucking.
Honestly... I kind of envy their friendship.
CHAPTER 02
The Hummin That Speaks Human
MOANIIMO noteThe journey “Binding Oath” begins at the place where Tucking fled.
Game text
A strange Hummin has appeared beside the pit where Tucking escaped. Did you just hear it speaking like a person?
Oh no, oh no! The Aniimo thief from the story’s here. I have to tell Tucker to run away! But where did Tucker go?
No! I have my own Hummin friend. A promise like that—even after a hundred years—we wouldn’t forget. Tucker wouldn’t either.
CHAPTER 03
Two Friends Who Cannot Sing
MOANIIMO noteRon tells a story that began more than a hundred years ago.
Game text
There was once a perfumer in Bloomville... named Ron. His singing was... terrible. People laughed at him. So he tried to make a perfume that could make his singing sound better.
He didn’t know what to do, but then he heard the sound of singing from somewhere nearby. He was intrigued, because the singing... was just as bad as his.
He found Tucker crouched in a corner, quietly singing. He laughed loud—so loud that Tucker stared at him, angry.
Tucker must’ve been thinking... this outsider sings just as badly as me!
Right. So, that’s how Ron and Tucker met. That’s how they became friends that could twine with each other.
He rushed back to the Mistwoods, excited. They’d made a promise—to use the perfume together and let the whole forest hear their voices.
CHAPTER 04
The Memories in the Vine Cores
MOANIIMO noteEach time you pluck one of Tucker’s vine cores, a memory unfolds.
Game text
The instant you pluck the vine core, a memory unfolds before your eyes—the Tucking and Hummins take the stage like superstars and sing their hearts out, only for their awful din to scare off every last Hexxin.
The instant you pluck the vine core, a memory unfolds before your eyes—under the Mistwoods’ starlit sky, a boy sails through the air on a vine, stretching toward the stars as he, the Tucking, and the Hummins lose themselves in a starry reverie.
Riding vines to reach the stars... That terrible duet... Sharing the same dream... So that’s how many memories he and Tucker shared. It’s a lot to take in!
CHAPTER 05
The Glimmer Fruit Garland

Game text
Just like how Tuckin can’t tell one Bloomville resident from another... I couldn’t be sure if that Tuckin was really Tucker.
Hey! Tucker! It’s me, Ron! Remember me? You didn’t forget me, did you?
Wooo... Wahhh... Wooo...
Selens puts on the glimmer fruit garland and goes to find Tucker, hoping to fulfill his ancestor’s promise, but Tucker immediately realizes that Selens isn’t the friend from all those years ago and flees in tears. Only then does Selens understand that the true promise was never about holding a concert together, but about the bond shared by partners whose hearts beat as one.
"He gave the garland to you... He’ll never come back, no matter how long I wait..."
"You must wear the glimmer fruit garland, but don’t lie to it about me coming back. Tell it I’m sorry I can’t make it back." That was probably the real promise.
Boy, Selens is a terrible singer. He clearly didn’t learn a thing from the master!
CHAPTER 06
The Hexxin Looking for Seven Children
MOANIIMO noteIn the journey “Family Reunion,” a strange Hexxin asks you to find its children.
Game text
Have you come across my Hummin children? Those playful ones wandered off in the forest!
Those kids must have scattered somewhere in the forest, but I don’t think they’ve left. Search around — there are seven of them.
They stand out from ordinary Hummins.
Ow! Mercy! You made me drop my whole collection!!
Looks like you managed to slip past those Hexxins! One day, I’ll be as powerful as them too!
They’re all home! Thank goodness!
