A sleepy bear you really shouldn’t wake
Cubbo · Grizbo
Introduction by MOANIIMO · not game text
Cubbo looks fluffy and cute, but Perfumer Awen says it is an especially dangerous Aniimo. When it smells the pollen of Cubbo’s Rose, Cubbo falls back into a deep sleep. The evolved Grizbo, too, hides pent-up anger beneath its gentle face.

CHAPTER 01
Cubbo’s Rose and the Sleeping Cubbo
MOANIIMO noteIn Rosetower Woods, Perfumer Awen hides from the places Cubbos roam and tells you the story.

Pathfinder, the area ahead is Cubbo family’s territory. It’s dangerous—don’t approach unprepared.
Even among Aniimo, Cubbos are considered dangerous. They’re always sleepwalking, and though they look fluffy and harmless, they become violently aggressive when startled. This is one of the few relatively safe spots...
My grandfather was a perfumer. From the notes he left behind, I learned that Cubbo’s roses spray a large amount of pollen when touched, and that this pollen can put Cubbos into a deep sleep—keeping us much safer.
I remember those Cubbos would send the iron crates crashing into the stone wall at the end of the track... Want to give it a try?
CHAPTER 02
The Forest Before the White Flowers Bloomed
MOANIIMO noteA Thornblade recalls the old forest as it tells how the Budsquires came to be “wanderers.”
Game text
Well... my great-grandpa used to say we’ve been here since even his great-grandpa’s days. But in those times, Thornblades constantly clashed with the Cubbos... It was hard on the little Budsquires.
Then, when my great-grandpa was born, a group of outsiders arrived. They were remarkable—able to make white, fragrant flowers bloom across the land!
The Cubbos would fall asleep when they smelled the flowers... and the Budsquires could play freely outside.
This was once the White Plateau, second in elevation to Twister Peaks, its lands blanketed in deep snow. Beardow Woods was the only path leading to the White Plateau. Dangerous Cubbos staggered about, their threatening growls echoing around. Budsquires shivered as they braved the bitter wind and snow to reach the White Plateau. For here grew a marvelous flower that had the mysterious power to make Cubbos keep their distance. Gradually, the people of Bloomville also discovered that white flower. At first, the Bloomville folk and the Budsquires lived on opposite sides of the flower, leaving each other undisturbed. Slowly, they began to communicate with each other and live together on the White Plateau. As the Melloblum performed the Dance of Blissful Bloom, the white flower blossomed against the bitter cold and whirling snow. It was called the "whitesnow rose"—a miracle on the snow. The miracle of a beautiful flower blooming amid a harsh and unforgiving world. And the miracle of the Bloomville folk and Budsquires living together and helping each other. Where the whitesnow rose grows is a shared homeland of both the Bloomville people and the Budsquire family.
