Every morning, Dewies fly to the flower fields to gather ripe nectar. Back at the nest, they spit out the nectar fermented inside them as aromathysts, and perfumers make perfume from them. When a Dewy grows into a Fragrancier, a scent all its own soaks into every feather.

CHAPTER 01
The Aromathysts of Bloomville

Dewys, Irises, Flutternyms, and this Sea of Flowers—they're the foundation of Bloomville. Is there anything you'd like to ask?
Aromathysts, the key to perfumery, come from Dewys. See that nest over there? That’s where they live.
Selene explains where aromathysts come from. Dewies store duskwhisper nectar in their throat pouches, where the nectar ferments into the aromathysts used in perfume blending. To make perfume, you must gather aromathysts during the day, then take them to the perfume workshop for processing.
The Dewy pecks off a tail feather and adds it to the ethanol.
You hand the gathered aromathysts over to Arlo. A Dewy and a Flutternym help activate the perfume-making device, where the aromathysts melt together with the scale dust into a thick perfume essence—the base for the perfume blending to come.
CHAPTER 02
A Performance Under the Starry Night

At Berylline Vale, you meet Loulla, who is responsible for your assessment. Insisting that major exams call for major fun, she pulls you into watching a concert rehearsal instead. Her Stellarys, Hexxin, and Fragrancier put on a nighttime performance filled with music, starlight, and fragrance, leaving the real assessment until after the show.
The Fragrancier’s scent made me feel dizzy...
Precisely! A lovely scent is what every member of the Dewy family strives for. As for weaving scent into the performance, that’s my Fragrancier’s own creative touch!
After the rehearsal, Loulla asks you to evaluate her Aniimo supergroup. From Hexxin’s soaring voice, Fragrancier’s dizzying aroma, and Stellarys’s brilliant starlight, you realize that each of her companions has developed a distinct identity, almost as though they have grown into exactly what they wanted to become. With the rehearsal over, Loulla finally drops the suspense and invites you to challenge the group in battle.
