CHAPTER 01

The Promise of the Bone Pup and the Emberpup

MOANIIMO noteOn Beast Fang Ridge, a Bonesky and an Emberpup argue over which of them is the strongest warrior.

Game text

Awoooo~ I'm the one! I'm the strongest warrior of Beast Fang Ridge!
Dialogue · Speaker: Bonesky
It's been 364 matches. But there's no way to determine a winner.
Dialogue · Speaker: Bonesky
This guy and I are truly destined Opponents... I will become the strongest Glynsera, and it will become the strongest Scorchhowl. After that, we will have our final battle. Whoever survives will be the strongest of Beast Fang Ridge.
Dialogue · Speaker: Bonesky
Don't die out there. I'll be waiting for you at Beast Fang Ridge.
Dialogue · Speaker: Bonesky
You've slackened. How can you become the strongest Scorchhowl like this... How can you complete the final battle with me?
Dialogue · Speaker: Fenrier
What could be more important than becoming the strongest in Beast Fang Ridge?
Dialogue · Speaker: Fenrier
To become the strongest Glynsera, one must cast aside all distractions and have only one thought—defeat the Opponent before you. As for the price paid, that is merely a medal of victory.
Dialogue · Speaker: Fenrier
When the most Scorching flames collide with the coldest ice, we will meet again. By then, I will surely be the strongest Glynsera, and I hope you will be strong enough to defeat me.

Game text

The temperature of a flame is the most honest. At that time, I could sense that its flame was no longer as Scorching as before, indicating it was no longer as fearless as it once was.
Dialogue · Speaker: Recas
Is that so? That's a feeling sharper than breaking a leg bone in childhood, is that the price of becoming strong?
Dialogue · Speaker: Recas
On this road, I'm the only one left.
Dialogue · Speaker: Recas
Glynsera and Scorchhowl are both born for battle. Each leads its own kind in the fight for Beast Fang Ridge, and even Boneskies and Emberpups cannot stay out of it. During one battle, a Bonesky tumbled down a hillside and broke its leg. An Emberpup carried it back to safety. The Bonesky couldn’t understand why its enemy had saved it. The Emberpup simply said, "You’re going to be my rival one day. I can’t have you ending up as a crippled wolf, forgotten in some corner." The Emberpup’s honesty and fighting spirit inspired the Bonesky, and the two made a promise: each would become the strongest of their own kind before meeting again for a final duel. Determined to become the strongest on Beast Fang Ridge, they each set off to find their own path to strength. You became the witness to that promise. In time, the Bonesky fulfilled that promise and became Recas, the mightiest Glynsera. The leg that had once been broken became the weapon with which it claimed glory. But when the Emberpup never returned to keep its promise, loneliness slowly consumed Recas. It came to realize that the price of strength wasn’t just broken bones and battle scars, but also the cold and loneliness that came with it.

CHAPTER 03

The Name “Recas”

MOANIIMO noteSayn, the Aniimo researcher, and Icho of Beast Fang Ridge tell the story behind the name “Recas.”

Game text

They lived together, played together, and even worked together—Boneskies would form pillars of ice, while Emberpups melted them for fresh water in the caves.
Dialogue · Speaker: Sayn
So, you’ve read my notes—I’m impressed! You see, the most powerful Glynsera of the era is given the name "Recas"—it’s been a tradition for generations.
Dialogue · Speaker: Sayn
No more water-making games, and the two names Recas and Icho became synonymous with the mightiest Glynsera and Scorchhowl.

Game text

The Recas didn’t like being called "Recas"—a title reserved for the strongest of the Bonesky clan. He could never defeat the Icho, not even come close. Once an ordinary, naive Bonesky, he wandered out of his ice cave one day and got lost, eventually encountering the Icho. He sensed the power radiating from the Icho and grew wary, but the Icho beckoned him over. Having lost his rival, the Icho was lonely and asked, "Little one, do you want to grow stronger?" Driven by his instinct to challenge the powerful, the Bonesky gave a simple, resolute answer. From that day, the Icho trained him like a master, aiming to raise a worthy opponent. Soon, he grew into a Fenrier. "Master Icho, how strong must I become?" "Only more powerful than yesterday. Till you become a Recas and defeat me." He soon became the Bonesky clan’s mightiest and earned the name Recas, yet he still could not best the Icho. One day, the Icho decided to leave, saying he was no longer the strongest. The Recas couldn’t believe anyone but his future self could surpass the Icho. "That person comes from beyond our world." "Now I’m off to test myself in the wider world." The Recas didn’t understand—only that this "person" had defeated the Icho. So he honed his will, aiming to someday overcome both the Icho and that "person." Then he became a Glynsera, but he never met "that person." Then you came along. The moment you defeated the Recas, he finally came to understand. "I’ve met a person of my own." "I’ve also seen a bigger world."
Item "Canid Battle Bone"
The young Recas and the young Icho were once the greatest rivals on Beast Fang Ridge, each convinced that defeating the other would make him the strongest. One day, the Recas discovered an ice crystal deep within a cavern and sought to break it free. the Icho opposed him, believing it would collapse the cavern and endanger both the Bonesky clan below and the Emberpups above. They clashed—and in the aftermath, the cave gave way, burying the Recas beneath the ice. The Icho lost his rival. Yet unknown to all, the Recas survived, trapped in a narrow crevice. In darkness and solitude, resentment took root, twisting him into the Ghost Glynsera. When he finally shattered the ice in a frenzy and broke free, the Icho was gone, and the Boneskies had already chosen a new Recas. From then on, he became a wandering wraith of resentment in the night, and under his influence, some Boneskies too began to harbor shadows in their hearts.
