Rosetower Woods has a Pomawk hidden quest that does not appear in the Log. It starts when you catch a wild Pomawk practicing at the stage spot at night. At the request of a worried Pomegg, you go to the cave on the hill path behind the Alpha Grizbo and find the trapped Pomawk, and the quest is done. After that, a Pomegg Concert opens at that spot every night. Here are the start conditions, the steps, map coordinates, rewards, and how to unlock Pomawk's ecology trait "Soundwave Clash".

1How to Start the Quest

  • The area is Rosetower Woods. It does not appear in the Log (L); it starts right away once the condition is met.
  • Only at night (in-game 20:00~06:00) is there a wild Pomawk practicing a song at the stage spot (map coordinates 0108, 0988). It is not there during the day.
  • Catching this Pomawk starts the quest. The start condition is that this Pomawk disappears from the field, so defeating it meets the same condition.
  • Once it starts, the screen fades and you are moved right next to it, and the Worried Pomegg and 3 Pomegg appear.
  • There are no other conditions such as Twine, items, or quests you must finish first.

2Steps

  • Talk to the Worried Pomegg and you are asked to find Pomawk, the lead vocalist who has gone missing. The talk ends with "(The Pomawk must’ve vanished for a reason. Maybe I’ll come back in the daytime.)"
  • Go near the stage (0111, 0983) in the daytime (06:00~20:00) and the Concerned Pomegg hints that Pomawk went toward the Big Grumpbear’s territory. This is not a condition for the next objective, so you can go straight to the cave.
  • The next objective is "Talk to the trapped Pomegg", but the NPC's name is Trapped Pomawk. The talk explains why the name is different.
  • The Trapped Pomawk is inside the cave on the hill path up to the summit, behind the Alpha Grizbo (0069, 1140).
  • When the talk inside the cave ends, the screen fades and you are moved outside the cave (0153, 0916) automatically, and the talk with the Trapped Pomawk continues automatically. You get the rewards when this talk ends.

  • After the quest, a Pomegg Concert opens every night at the stage spot (near 0111, 0990). It does not open before you finish the quest.
  • On the way to the concert at night, Pomegg show you the way, saying "Go up to the concert!" and "Watch your steps"

6Pomawk Ecology Trait "Soundwave Clash"

  • The task for Pomawk's ecology trait "Soundwave Clash" in the Aniilog is "Twine with a Pomawk and compete in a singing contest with wild Pomawks."
  • It unlocks when you get close to a wild Pomawk while Twined with Pomawk. The reaction distance is about 6.5 m.
  • Every wild Pomawk has this reaction, and so does the Pomawk on the concert stage. So it seems you can unlock it without doing the hidden quest.
