- PC, console and mobile progress is shared within the same server. Different servers have separate data.
- Before installing, free up at least 18 GB and use a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Mobile supports a 60 FPS mode (except some low-end devices). If your device overheats, lower the graphics quality or render scale.
- Old test builds no longer work. Uninstall them and install the latest official client.
- For Android install problems, check that you used an official source and that your device supports Vulkan 1.1.
1Can I use my PC character on mobile?
Yes. PC, console and mobile progress is shared within the same server.
- Game data on different servers is completely separate.
- To keep your character and progress, choose the same server on your other device. Using the same account does not show characters from a different server.
2How do I link a platform account such as Steam to my email?
The first time you log in with a third-party platform, you'll be prompted to link an email.
- To log in with the same account on other platforms or carry over existing progress, link your email as prompted.
- Even if you played the earlier test on Steam, you can link your Steam account to an Aniimo Pass email. Logging in to the Steam client shows the link prompt; if you skipped it, you can link later on the in-game [Email Link] page.
- Enter the email you used for pre-registration, earlier tests or pre-launch web events and complete verification to have those rewards sent to that game account.
- Pressing Skip on the link prompt may lose progress and launch rewards tied to another account. To keep your existing account and rewards, check which email to link before continuing.
- One email can be linked to several third-party platform accounts, but each third-party platform account can be linked to only one email.
3How much storage does the mobile install need?
18 GB or more free space recommended
- Before installing, make sure you have at least 18 GB of free storage and are on a stable Wi-Fi connection.
4Does mobile support 60 FPS?
A 60 FPS mode is supported, though some low-end devices may be excluded.
- Running at 60 FPS can make your device run hotter, so pick settings that suit your device.
- If it overheats, try lowering the graphics quality or render scale.
5Are tablets and large-screen devices supported?
Large-screen devices are optimised for, and large-screen mode turns on automatically.
- Large-screen mode may use a higher render scale.
- A higher render scale needs more processing power. Adjust graphics quality and render scale to suit your device.
6Can I keep using the old CBT / test client?
- No. Uninstall the old test client and download and install the latest official client.
7Android says "device not compatible" or won't install.
- Check that you downloaded the game from an official source such as Google Play.
- Check that your device supports Vulkan 1.1. Some older GPUs lack Vulkan 1.1 graphics drivers, which can block installation or stop the game from starting.
8The download is stuck at 0% or keeps going back.
- Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Turn off VPN, proxy, Private DNS and ad blockers, and restart your router. Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi if you can.
- Free up storage and download again.
- If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the app, or try again outside busy hours.
9I can't connect to the server because of a network error.
- Turn off VPN and proxy. On iOS, also try disabling iCloud Private Relay.
- Restart your phone and router, and try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Check whether your router's firewall settings or your carrier's DNS are blocking or redirecting the connection.
- Server load can be high at launch and during download peaks, so try again a little later.
10My ping spikes or I keep disconnecting in game.
- Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi rather than 2.4 GHz, which tends to get more interference. On iOS, try turning off Wi-Fi Assist.
- Check whether other devices on the same network are doing large downloads or streaming.
- Playing on mobile data while moving around can make the signal unstable.
- Connecting to a server in another region adds latency, so choose the server for your region.
11Downloads and updates are slow.
- Download and update over Wi-Fi when you can.
- Right after launch or at peak times the CDN may be congested, so try again at a quieter time.
- Check whether your carrier throttles speeds or blocks/intercepts DNS requests.
12Where can I check my earlier test rewards?
Log in to the official reward lookup page or the in-game reward lookup screen with the account you used in the earlier test.
- You can look up earlier test-exclusive rewards and Aniimo eggs stored from the "Bonded Promise" event. What you see depends on that account's participation history.
