In Tricolor Woods of Russet Highlands, Helmuts guard a Golden Helmet. Approaching without Cloak gets you spotted and expelled outside. Here is the verified location, walkthrough, and detection conditions.- Location: Russet Highlands · Tricolor Woods. Displayed as a "Key Ecology Spot" on the map, very close to the Transporter.
- Requirements: An Aniimo with the exploration ability Cloak (Wisptis, Ignitis, Fulmintis)
- Upon completion, Mountain Woods Form Helmut and Rookey start appearing in Tricolor Woods.

1Location
- Russet Highlands · Tricolor Woods. The red circle on the map below is where you do Secret of the Golden Helmet and where the Golden Helmet sits.
- It is a short walk from the nearest Transporter. The Golden Helmet lies in the spot the Helmuts surround.
2Detection Conditions
- The moment you step within the perimeter of the Golden Helmet (approx. 5.5m), the game checks if you are Cloaked. If not Cloaked, the screen fades to black and you are teleported outside.
- While inside, if Cloak ends, or if you switch Aniimo or change your Twine, it checks again.
- Cloak lasts for 10 seconds. Move close from the Transporter side first, activate Cloak, and immediately head for the helmet.
- If you strike or attack the Golden Helmet directly, you must start over from the beginning.
3Aniimo with Cloak
- Aniimo with the exploration ability "Cloak". Having just one is enough.
4After Taking the Golden Helmet
- The three Helmuts flee in surprise, and a Mountain Woods Form Helmut appears in place of the helmet.
- Catching this Helmut completes the challenge.
- After completion, Mountain Woods Form Helmut and Mountain Woods Form Rookey appear in Tricolor Woods. This is the condition "Respawns after you complete [Secret of the Golden Helmet]" in the dex.

- Q. Where do I accept Secret of the Golden Helmet?
- It is not an accepted quest. Head directly in front of the Golden Helmet in Tricolor Woods of Russet Highlands to proceed.
- Q. I get kicked out when I get close.
- Because you are not Cloaked. Activate Cloak using Wisptis, Ignitis, or Fulmintis before approaching. Cloak lasts only 10 seconds, so activate it when you are close.

- •Helmut speech appears as indecipherable text unless Twined with Helmut. This does not affect progress.
